Shoot at the Wild Center

I know, I've practically killed my blog by now. But I've been all over the place this summer! Even with the intention of blogging more about my final year of school work and other things, it just hasn't happened. And I should probably stop telling myself it will, unfortunately.

But as for good news, I have had a successful final shoot with my students in this summer's fashion photography class. Being a teaching assistant and basically working for my friend has been a good deal! I am usually around just to help, but I couldn't help myself to take a few shots during our time at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. Here's a few creepy black and whites I put together in a mini-series:

Final Prints from My Intaglio Class

This semester has been an interesting adventure in my printmaking class. Intaglio is a process I knew nothing about, but was glad to say I grew with during the semester. It was a love-hate relationship to say the least, and super time consuming, but here I will show off my prints in chronological order. It's been fun :)

[ My first and best final, an favorite print this year. Commemoration of the RMS Titanic, 100 years ago last month (when I did this plate). I worked many, many hours on this baby. ]

Being a Sharkie

Sharkie you might ask? What an odd term. But if you're a Black Milk fan, you know what this means. I've been slowly building my collection of clothing from this lovely site, based in Australia. The fan base is incredibly funky, supportive, and awesome. I love interacting with these girls, and of course, love the clothing. It may seem expensive to some, but I find that it's worth it. They make you feel like a million dollars!
